Ysabel Lewthwaite, My Journey in Photography and Art

I’m a fashion and editorial photographer with a background in concept-driven imagery. I studied Photography at Falmouth University, where I completed a BA (Hons) and developed a strong focus on styled portraiture and visual storytelling.

My work centres on bringing ideas to life through carefully planned shoots. I take a hands-on approach to every project, from developing the concept and styling to directing the model, lighting the set, and refining the final images in post-production. This allows me to create cohesive, considered visuals that feel intentional and well-crafted.

I enjoy working collaboratively while maintaining a clear creative direction, ensuring each shoot aligns with the client’s vision while also carrying a strong editorial edge. Whether producing fashion imagery, portraits, or conceptual work, my aim is to create images that are confident, visually striking, and purpose-driven.
