Ethereal Slumber is inspired by the calm and romantic mood of Frederic Leighton’s Flaming June, reimagined through a contemporary photographic lens. The shoot revisits the idea of a sleeping figure, focusing on stillness, softness, and quiet emotion.

The imagery centre's on a sense of calm and control. The model rests within layers of silk bedding, allowing light and shadow to move gently across the frame. Rich fabrics in the background add depth and texture, supporting the overall mood without overpowering the subject.
